Product Details
Saint Louis Marie Grignon de Montfort was born in Brittany, France, on 31 January 1673. He was ordained in 1700 and distinguished himself by his zeal and missionary work. He preached so forcefully and effectively against the errors of Jansenism that he was expelled from several dioceses in France. He took his case to Rome, where Pope Clement XI conferred on him the title of Missionary Apostolic, enabling him to continue his apostolate.
An ardent devotee of Our Lady, he preached Mary everywhere. He was one of the greatest apostles of the Rosary in his day and continues to be so through his inspiring books, The Secret of the Rosary and True Devotion to Mary.
This booklet, its meditations, and the beautiful illustrations by a contemporary artist are inspired by the life and works of this great saint whose dying words have echoed down the ages and been an inspiration to millions: “I am all Thine, and all I have is Thine, O most loving Jesus, through Mary, Thy Holy Mother”.
Our prayer at South Africa Needs Our Lady is that this booklet be a great aid in spreading devotion to the Holy Rosary and hastening the conversion of our country.
